When the Soul Cleanses Itself: The Mercy Hidden in Crisis

There are moments when life unravels with terrifying precision. Plans collapse, certainty vanishes, and identity itself begins to dissolve. The instinct is to fix, to cling, to rebuild. Yet the deeper truth is this — not every destruction is tragedy. Some are mercy in disguise.

The soul has a way of cleansing itself through crisis. What we call loss is often the removal of what no longer resonates with truth. The pain we feel is the friction of transformation, the echo of resistance as the false gives way to the real. It is not punishment — it is purification.

To meet this process consciously is an act of devotion. It requires humility to admit that perception itself might be the source of our suffering. But when we release the grip of the old narrative, awareness expands. The self, once fractured by attachment, begins to gather its scattered light.

Simplicity returns like the first quiet after a storm. There is no longer a need to be right, only a longing to be whole. In that sacred undoing, awareness becomes prayer — not in words, but in presence.

The renewal we seek has always been within. We simply had to clear the view.
