There is a strange pressure placed on the soul to reinvent itself on command. As if purpose were seasonal. As if meaning required spectacle.
But most callings are not loud. They do not arrive with banners or timelines. They repeat themselves—patient, steady, unchanged by your resistance.
Devotion is not the opposite of growth. It is how growth becomes real. What you return to—again and again—is not failure to evolve. It is evidence of a contract you made long before you learned how to run.
Staying is not stagnation. Staying is courage without witnesses.
You were never meant to become someone else.
You were meant to become faithful.
